I'm just doing a quick test post from the new Windows Live Writer application, to see how it works.

So far, I'm impressed. This is going to seriously raise the bar for blogging software on Windows.

You should also look at the FLOCK browser based on Firefox. It has an integrated Blog tool that you can use direct from the browser.
