(Incidentally, I'm disappointed to note that neither Press Gazette nor The Guardian linked or credited MarkMedia who found the story first)

Well done for spotting the Day After first, I'm back in Birmingham now and set to face the music at work this morning. It has been a fascinating few days and I am glad to have given so many people a good laugh, the support I have recieved has been very humbling. Now I have to work my ass off to ensure Goggleeye magazine is a success. I do not think I could have had a better start, Goggleeye is all about making people laugh and whatever the rights and wrongs of my drunken actions that is something the videos certainly did.
Adam Smith
aka, Steve Zacharanda
Technically still a Birmingham Mail journalist
Certainly the editor of Goggleeye and founder of Cheeky Media.
Hi Steve/Adam,
Good luck with your future plans with Goggleeye and Cheeky Media.
Whatever happens with the Birmingham Mail, may your new found fame bring you happiness & success. You deserve it!
Gr8 youtube clips...had me in stitches :)

Thank you Adam for bringing us some laughter. When you get Googleeye and Cheeky Media off the ground I'd like to subscribe.
Great performance.
