As you might expect, the real (and hideously expensive) movie camera blows the phone away.

But here’s the thing — in all but the very low light situations, the iPhone footage is remarkably good looking. And the iPhone has been shooting video for less than a decade: the first one to shoot video was the 3GS in 2009; the third model, only eight years ago. Just imagine how good the footage it produces will be in another decade…
